What your restaurant gets

Arabic, English, French and more

A menu in Lebanon has three languages or it loses a table. On WataDish every dish, section and choice has its Arabic, English and French, the site turns right to left for Arabic, and a diner reads it in their own language from the first tap. The menu can be written in more: Armenian, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and Portuguese as well, as many as your plan allows.

How it works

  1. Choose your languages, write each dish once

Pick the languages your menu speaks, from ten; every name and description gets a field for each. Leave one empty and the menu shows the next language rather than a blank.

  2. The diner picks, or the phone does

The menu opens in the phone’s language where you have it, and a diner can switch at the top; the choice is remembered.

  3. Prices read both ways

Prices are kept in dollars and shown with pounds at the rate you set: on the menu, at checkout and on the order.

On which plans

  • Prices also in a second currency, at your rate: every plan

Questions

Do I have to translate everything myself?

You type what you have. A dish with only an Arabic name shows that name to everyone; the French can come later.

Can the menu be in Armenian, Turkish or Spanish?

Yes. The menu can be written in Armenian, Turkish, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and Portuguese as well as Arabic, English and French, up to the number of languages your plan allows. The buttons and the checkout have words in Arabic, English and French; a diner reading the menu in another language gets them in English. The admin is in English.

Can I show prices in pounds?

Prices are kept in dollars; the pounds are shown beside them at your rate, and the rate is yours to change any day.
