What your restaurant gets

Cash, Whish and OMT, and cards

Cash is first-class here, not a fallback: a customer can pay in cash when the order is handed over, or send a Whish or OMT transfer to your own account, and WataDish takes nothing on either. Where your plan takes cards, the customer pays by card on WataDish’s pay page, and WataDish pays you for the order less its commission. Prices are in dollars, with pounds shown at your rate.

A phone showing the ways to pay at checkout: cash, a transfer, a card

How it works

  1. Choose what you accept

Cash, Whish, OMT, cards: switch on what suits you, and put in your own Whish or OMT details for transfers.

  2. The customer picks at checkout

They see only the ways you accept. A transfer shows your details; a card goes to the pay page; cash says how much to have ready.

  3. You are paid

Cash and transfers reach you directly. For card orders, WataDish pays you what it owes, by Whish, OMT or bank transfer, once each order is 7 days old.

On which plans

Questions

Is there a commission on cash orders?

No, on no plan. Cash, and transfers to your own account, are between you and your customer.

How do card payments work when Stripe does not operate in Lebanon?

Card orders are sold by Amberlock Ltd, trading as WataDish, to the customer, and you supply them: the customer pays WataDish on its pay page, and WataDish pays you for the order less its commission. The terms of sale and the supplier agreement say it in full.

When is card money paid to me?

Once an order is 7 days old, WataDish pays what it owes you by Whish, OMT or bank transfer, when you ask; every order and every payment is listed in your admin.
