What your restaurant gets

The order screen

Open the screen on a tablet by the pass, tap Start, and it fills the screen and takes over: a new order rings until somebody accepts it or turns it down, each order moves from new to in the kitchen to ready with one tap, and the customer’s phone follows along. It works on whatever you have; nothing to install.

The order screen on a tablet: new orders, orders in the kitchen and orders ready, in three lanes

How it works

  1. Open it on any device

A phone, a tablet, an old laptop: the screen is a page in your admin, made to fill the screen and stay awake.

  2. A new order rings

The sound repeats until every new order is accepted or turned down, so nothing waits unseen. Accept with a ready time, and the customer is told.

  3. Move it along

In the kitchen, ready, handed over or out for delivery: one tap each, and the order’s page on the customer’s phone changes with it.

Questions

Do I need a special tablet?

No. Any phone or tablet with a browser does; the screen is a web page in your admin.

What happens when the internet drops?

The screen says so and keeps what it had. Orders placed while it was out are waiting when it is back, and ring then.

I have more than one branch

On plans with branches, each branch has its own menu, prices and hours, and its own screen showing its own orders.
